Gold Coast Care Services provides Short-Term Accommodation (STA) for NDIS participants. Our STA’s provide temporary care and support for individuals with disabilities when their usual support arrangements are unavailable. This type of accommodation is ideal for short stays, offering a break for both the individual and their primary caregivers. It can be used for various purposes, such as:
- Respite Care: Giving family members or regular carers a temporary break while ensuring the participant receives quality care.
- Emergency Situations: Providing immediate support when unforeseen circumstances arise.
- Trial Stays: Allowing individuals to experience different living arrangements or support environments.
STA can be provided in various settings and locations, including our SIL facilities or specialised travel accommodation, and is tailored to meet the participant’s specific needs and preferences.
