Gold Coast Care Services offers Short-Term Accommodation (STA) for NDIS participants, providing temporary care and support when regular support arrangements are unavailable. STA is ideal for short stays and offers a valuable break for both individuals and their primary carers.
STA can be used for a range of purposes, including:
Respite Care – Giving family members or regular carers a well-deserved break while ensuring participants receive high-quality, consistent care.
Emergency Accommodation – Providing immediate, short-term support in response to unforeseen circumstances.
Trial Stays – Offering participants the opportunity to explore different living arrangements or support environments before committing to a long-term option.
STA is available in a variety of settings across our network, including within our Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes or through tailored travel accommodation options. Each stay is customised to suit the participant’s individual needs, preferences, and goals.
